Block parties are an American tradition as old as Church St. itself. Located in the heart of downtown, Church St. today is synonymous with the holy trinity of night clubs – Chillers, Big Belly, and Latitudes. It’s home to the only daiquiri bar in town (Chillers), Orlando’s original speakeasy turned bar and lounge (Big Belly), and the best rooftop dance party around (Latitudes), and these bars all play host The City Beautiful’s biggest and best block parties.
Whether it’s before an Orlando City game, or celebrating New Year’s, St. Patrick’s Day, Cinco de Mayo, or Halloween we love throwing the doors open and taking over the street. Each party brings something special and we provide the city’s most renowned DJ’s to keep you dancing, drink specials of course, and sometimes there are contests with chances for winning prizes (think cash prizes). These events bring the best of everything for everyone with the indooroutdoor neighborhood and nightclub experience all rolled into one.
